CASAL 20

Casal 20 era uma série de TV criado por Sidney Sheldon e apresentado originalmente pela rede de televisão ABC, nos Estados Unidos, entre 25 de agosto de 1979 até 22 de maio de 1984, num total de 110 episódios de aproximadamente 47 minutos cada, estrelado por Robert Wagner como Jonathan Hart e Stefanie Powers como sua esposa Jennifer, ambos vivendo um elegante bairro de Los Angeles.

Tudo começa quando o milionário Jonathan Hart se casa com Jennifer, uma jornalista sofisticada e de espírito aventureiro. A união dos dois cria um casal rico, charmoso, bem sucedido profissionalmente, que leva uma vida excitante morando numa mansão em Bervely Hills com o mordomo Max, e o fiel cachorrinho Freeway.

Jonathan é dono das indústrias Hart e Jennifer uma profissional respeitada e famosa. Nas colunas sociais pessoas desse tipo recebem sempre a nota máxima, são sempre "nota 10". A união de duas personalidades dessa linha só podia resultar num "Casal 20".

O combustível do romance de Jonathan e Jennifer é a aventura, o interesse pelo perigo. Eles são detetives por puro prazer. O apaixonado casal está sempre viajando pelo mundo, freqüentando lugares glamurosos e buscando fortes emoções ao investigar e solucionar os mais misteriosos e intrigantes crimes.

Na década de 90 mais uma série de 8 telefilmes foram produzidos e apresentados pela ABC entre 5 de novembro de 1993 até 25 de agosto de 1996. Esta série fez muito sucesso no Brasil e foi apresentado em diversas emissoras de televisão, mais recentemente na Rede 21.
