HARDCASTLE AND McCORMICK - CARA OU COROA

Hardcastle and McCormick ou Cara ou Coroa foi uma série de televisão do gênero ação e drama criado por Stephen J. Carnell e Patrick Hasburgh, produzido pela Stephen J. Cannell Productions, em associação com a Columbia Pictures Television, protagonizados por Brian Keith como o Juiz Milton C. Hardcastle e Daniel Hugh Kelly como Mark "Skid" McCormick.

O enredo do espetáculo envolvia a aposentadoria do Juiz Milton C. Hardcastle do Tribunal Superior de Los Angeles e que resolve apanhar os bandidos que estão fixados em diversas pastas contendo todos os detalhes técnicos de diversos criminosos.

Quando planeja ir atrás deles acaba cruzando com um trapaceiro e ladrão de carro chamado Mark. Para não ser preso pelo juiz, Mark resolve ajudar Milton a pegar os bandidos e assim passa a ser o braço direito dele.

O espetáculo foi apresentado originalmente nos Estados Unidos, pela rede ABC, entre 18 de setembro de 1983 a 5 de maio de 1986, num total de 67 episódios, de aproximadamente 60 minutos cada, em três temporadas e no Brasil através da Rede Record e também pela Rede Globo.
